The Boathouse at Kananook, near Melbourne (Victoria, Australia) has been in operation for a few years but new owner Cameron Taylor, who took over the venue in mid 2011, was looking forward to a renaissance of the iconic venue.
Cameron invested heavily not only his money but his own time to give the venue a retrofit that embellishes the best standards in food and beverage with a modern restaurant interior coupled with a fabulous summer beer garden at the rear of the premises. The restaurant serves modern Australian cuisine.

As yesterday’s temperatures sizzled in the high 30s (100F) tennis fans sought relief from the heat with Coca-Cola’s frozen drinks.
Our FBD562 frozen drink dispensers are pouring at Melbourne Park for the Australian Open Tennis Championships.
Yesterday these frozen drink machines delivered a staggering 8,000 cups of frozen Coke and frozen Fanta.
At 500ml per cup, that’s 4,000 litres of frozen soft drink!

Last week we attended the 2011 U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year presentation to South Australia's top 10 bartenders, held at the Rob Roy Hotel in Adelaide.
It was a fantastic opportunity for the top 10 bartenders (pictured below) to get together and celebrate their month of hard work and fundraising.
South Australia's 2011 U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year is Cole Hedwards from the Bellum Hotel in Mount Schank. Cole was joined at the presentation by hotel owners Simon Livingstone and Lisa Edwards (pictured above, with our Managing Director, Joe Thorp).
