It may seem an unlikely undertaking for the leader of a beverage systems company to give up drinking, but it’s for a great cause.
We’re very proud of our Managing Director, Joe Thorp, who is participating in Dry July, and so will not be drinking alcohol next month.
Dry July challenges individuals and teams to a month long sponsored abstinence from alcohol. Funds raised directly benefit Australian adults living with cancer.
Joe has nominated The Hospital Research Foundation (Adelaide) as his beneficiary. The foundation offers 20 inpaitent beds and 13 outpatient chairs, and treats the following cancer types;

Matt has recently been appointed to the Operations role having spent 2 years as Quality Engineer and more recently as Production Engineer, supported by Fiore Alvaro.
Matt has a long history of manufacturing with 23 years service at Mitsubishi Motors Australia from a mechanical technician in the R & D Department to the resident Quality Engineer at the Engine Plant.
Matt is an active life member of the Somerton Surf Club with 38 years service on the beach.

While we believe that Hoshizaki ice is "Simply the world's best ice", another reinforcement has emerged from an unlikely source.
A copy of the Foo Fighters' 52 page "Tour 2011" production rider has appeared on celebrity news site, The Smoking Gun.
While celebrities are generally known for making outrageous backstage demands, we're inclined to agree with the Foo Fighters' – especially in regards to ice.

Hoshizaki Lancer Managing Director, Joe Thorp, today presented two employees with plaques recognising 20 years service with the company.
Steve McMahon joined us on 5/3/91 as a Process Worker and currently applies his skills as a Tig Welder in our specialised beer fount and drip tray manufacturing cell.
Craig Hinter joined us on 16/4/91 as a Process Worker and is currently our State Manager SA NT.
