As yesterday’s temperatures sizzled in the high 30s (100F) tennis fans sought relief from the heat with Coca-Cola’s frozen drinks.
Our FBD562 frozen drink dispensers are pouring at Melbourne Park for the Australian Open Tennis Championships.
Yesterday these frozen drink machines delivered a staggering 8,000 cups of frozen Coke and frozen Fanta.
At 500ml per cup, that’s 4,000 litres of frozen soft drink!
Our frozen drink machines did an incredible job coping with ambient temperatures close to 40 degrees – well outside their design specification.
The bulk of the frozen soft drinks were served at a constant rate between 11am and 3pm.
This equates to around 100 drinks per hour, or 2 drinks per minute, per machine!
The FBD562’s performed exceptionally well. They not only kept up with demand, but did so despite of the extreme temperatures, during the hottest part of the day.
Dare we say that our frozen drink dispensers may have performed better than some others on court…?
