Bark Mill Tavern were the proud Tasmanian winner of the 2011 U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year competition for the Leukaemia Foundation, thanks to their "U.G.L.Y." Bartender, Matt Gall.
Situated in Swansea, on the east coast touring route of Tasmania, the recently refurbished
Bark Mill Tavern is a unique venue, comprising of the Tavern – offering bar, dining and bottle shop – as well as The Bark Mill Bakery Cafe and The Bark Mill Museum.
The museum features a wealth of historical displays, including a working steam engine that powered the original Bark Mill, harking back to the early settlers who worked in the
timber logging industry.
As principal national sponsor of the campaign, we awarded the highest fundraiser in each state with one of our Hoshizaki ice machines.
The Bark Mill Tavern requested a cube ice machine, for use in their beverage service, so we provided them with a Hoshizaki ice maker IM 240 M2E.
“We are ecstatic with our Hoshizaki ice machine and so are our patrons. The clear, hard ice in our drinks have attracted many compliments from patrons on our service and drink quality.”
~ Tim Bond, owner.
