This venue is one of the largest hotels and entertainment operations on the Sunshine Coast, catering for all sections of the community but heavily reliant on the nightlife trade. This venue has been trading for many years and has had several "makeovers".
Their ice requirements range from kitchen use, bars and nightclub use for serving with drinks, the latter being by far the biggest consumer of ice.
Their cost for purchasing bagged ice was exceeding $700 per week with storage space becoming a major concern. The ice was stored at the rear of the hotel in a large freezer container, which was causing problems for all general deliveries to the hotel.
The problems at the rear of the hotel no longer exist and staff time management has been improved without the need to go outside to the rear of the hotel to replenish ice supplies.
